With their debut LP out this week, London-based H.Grimace are sharing their new single “Lipsyncer“. The band are set to play a London show at Rough Trade East on April 13th and will release their LP Self Architect next Friday, April 7th, via Opposite Number.
Packed with their punchy, post-punks sounds, singer Hannah Gledhill offered some insight into the new single when she said “Lipsyncer is about the pressures on young women or men to fit in or replicate something they aspired to be. I remember that feeling well and how lip syncing to someone else’s tune can be. It was in my voice but not my words or my description.”
