Mourn Announce New EP & Share Cover of “Color Me Impressed”

Spanish outfit Mourn have announced the release of their new EP, titled Off the Wall, which is due out September 8th on Captured Tracks.

Over the Wall EP features an unreleased track taken from an outtake of their album Ha Ha He and four covers by various heroes and influences that belie the band members’ ages – The Replacements, Husker Du, The Sound, and Echo & The Bunnymen.

The group have also shared their cover of “Color Me Impressed” by The Replacements. Listen to it below:

Over the Wall artwork & tracklist:

1. Angines (Unreleased)
2. Over the Wall (by Echo & The Bunnymen)
3. The Fire (by The Sound)
4. Color Me Impressed (by The Replacements)
5. Whatever (by Husker Dü)

Due to legal issues with Mourn’s Spanish label, the young band was unable to tour North America or Europe following the release of their sophomore album Ha Ha He last summer. This September the foursome makes their triumphant return for a two week run of dates, marking their first time playing stateside since the release of their breakout debut in 2014. They are incredibly excited to finally get to share with North America the music from Ha Ha He. See full run of dates below:
