Skating Polly have unveiled a video for cover of Lee Hazlewood‘s anti-nuclear song anthem, now a sharp protest song , “Morning Dew“. The Oklahoma duo’s decision to take on the song was inspired by the results of the recent US presidential election, according to a press release.
“‘Morning Dew’ was originally written as an Anti-Nuclear War song, but each artist who’s covered it has made it personal to what was happening around them, so it eventually just became a protest song. The fact that we elected Donald Trump is horrifying to us, and we’re not sure there’s ever been a better time to protest.”

Skating Polly’s The Big Fit LP is out now via Chap Stereo.
