It was announced today the 69th edition of Cannes Film Festival‘s lineup. Woody Allen’s Cafe Society will open this year’s edition of the festival, playing out of competition. George Miller (Mad Max: Fury Road) will preside over the jury picking the Palme d’Or winner.
This year’s lineup includes from out of competition films like Steven Spielberg‘s The BFG and Jodie Foster‘s Money Monster to two new films from Jim Jarmusch (Adam Driver-starring Paterson and an Iggy Pop documentary), along with films from Nicolas Winding Refn, Andrea Arnold, Jeff Nichols, Sean Penn, Olivier Assayas, the Dardenne brothers and many more.
The festival runs on May 11th to 22th, 2016. Check out the full lineup below:
