A playlist curated by Ethan McCarthy (Primitive Man, Vermin Womb & Many Blessings)

We’re asking musicians what music they’re currently listening to, and this playlist is a bit different of what we have been doing, it comes from Ethan McCarthy (Primitive Man, Vermin Womb & Many Blessings) and the tracks follow a recommended schedule for your mornings. Enjoy!

Ethan McCarthy present his sophomore solo effort known as Many Blessings with a new full-length titled, Emanation Body, out on May 29, 2020 via Translation Loss.

This playlist is what I play to begin my mornings. Recommended schedule is below:

Wake up really early. Before sunrise. Listen to tracks 1-7. Stare into the void. Don’t move. Maybe close your eyes or just look far off into an unknown distance.
Listen to track 8. Make some toast (or a gluten free treat for you Celiacs out there) take a shower.
Put on tracks 9-12. Smoke weed the whole time. Maybe have an edible.
Listen to tracks 13-15 do a high intensity workout and/or lift some weights.
Listen to tracks 16-18. have a shower.
Listen to tracks 19-23. Clean or tidy something up in your house.
Listen to track 24. Smoke more weed.
Then be creative or watch TV, do what you normally do that makes you happy. Video games, whatever. Call a friend. Blow someone a digital kiss.

Aside from this schedule, i’ve just been making lots of Many Blessings material, working on art, and trying to hussle in anyway I can that doesn’t involve having to leave the house for anything non essential.

Emanation Body, out on May 29, 2020 via Translation Loss, you can pre-order the album here.
