Over the past few years, Anna Pancaldi has been establishing herself as one of the UK’s most promising new singer-songwriters.
Since working with producer Matt Ingram (Florence & The Machine, Lianne La Havas, Laura Marling) Anna re-launched her music to the public with a new sound and a new approach to her musical alchemy, her summer single “What I’ve Become” was the perfect example of that.
Today, we’re sharing the premiere of her new single, “Peace“, a track that is brimming with invention, sounds expansive and simply polished, all with that perfect touch of lo-fi soulful indie rock. (listen below)
On the track Anna states: “A challenge at first but now an exhilarating awakening having discovered and then explored the electric guitar. ‘Peace’ is my first ‘foot stomper’ track which I think will surprise listeners who’ve been on the journey with me so far. It feels a bold evolution for me so here we go.”
