Deathsomnia share video for new song, “Void Oblivion”

Darkwave up-and-comers Deathsomnia released their debut album You Will Never Find Peace last Friday on Isolation Records and today, the band celebrates its release with the premiere of a new music video. “Void Oblivion,” the album’s third single, is about how “…breaking a pattern, overcoming inertia and turning away is so fucking hard. And sometimes when it seems that you’ve finally managed to do it, at the last minute something shifts and you’re surging back into the void, back in oblivion,” comments Deathsomnia vocalist Kadri Sammel.

Guitarist Bruno Russo says: “‘Void Oblivion’ is one of my favorite tracks on our new album, especially because my good friend Gabriel Franco takes part in it. After working with Unto Others and seeing how Gabriel carries his band, that gave me the drive and push to start Deathsomnia. If someone asked me to choose one song that is the ‘Deathsomnia sound,’ this would probably my first pick.” Russo continues, “Also having the super talented Zetra come up with a visualizer video that captures the vibe of the song and the band is definitely the icing on the cake. I love we’ve been able to bring together so many artists and musicians to make something different and break boundaries which is all this band is about: to meet likeminded artists and collaborate.
