Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 is now officially happening and filming has begun.
The film’s returning director, James Gunn, confirmed on Twitter that filming on Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 is officially happenig, which he unveiled an image of the gang. (See the pic below)
The freaking awesome image shows the return of Peter Quill/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista), Rocket (voiced by Bradley Cooper), and a baby-sized Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel).
Other returning cast members include Michael Rooker as Yondu, Karen Gillan as Nebula, and Sean Gunn as Kraglin. In the meantime, there was also unveiled new peeps such as Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan, and probably (not yet confirmed) Kurt Russell.
Filming is taking place at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, aiming for a release date of May 5, 2017.
