UK-based songwriter Katie Malco has signed to 6131 Records (Julien Baker, Culture Abuse, Dads) and released the first new music in six years.
“Creatures is about the thoughts that haunt you at night when you’re trying to sleep. When you think about all the things you’re failing at and it feels like no matter what you do you keep losing the game of life. It’s about being tired, facing adulthood, leaving youth behind. It’s about pretending to hold it together when at night all the ugliness is plastered across all the walls you stare at from your bed.” – Katie Malco

Katie Malco will be playing throughout the UK in the coming months, including performing alongside Bob Mould and Alessi’s Ark. And plans are already in the works for more new music via 6131 Records in 2020, with more details to be announced later this year.
