Lady Bird is an American comedy-drama film written and directed by Greta Gerwig, actually is Greta’s solo directorial debut, that means she’s not starring in her own material.
The film, which stars Saoirse Ronan, where she plays a Sacramento teenager seeking to escape her small town to attend college in New York City. Set in Sacramento, California in 2002, amidst a rapidly shifting American economic landscape, Lady Bird “is an affecting look at the relationships that shape us, the beliefs that define us, and the unmatched beauty of a place called home”.

The film had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival on September 1, 2017. It is scheduled to be released on November 10, 2017 by A24.
