7 Things That Happened in 2015 on Back to The Future II But Haven’t Happened Yet

Happy “Back To The Future” day for y’all!

Today is the day that Doc and Marty McFly traveled thirty years into the future on Back To The Future II. This is not any ordinary day for those who watched this movie countless times and always wondered what would be like that future and if all the futuristic things would ever be a reality. Released in 1989, Steven Spielberg, Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale had no idea what 2015 would be like and so they used their imaginations, even though it wasn’t that much realistic.

Our list is really about the things we wish were actually happened on the future 2015 – which is our present, October 21, 2015.

1- HOVERBOARD!

Hell yeah, this one cool flying skateboard was something we always wished it was true! Many tried to make it happen, but no one succeed… yet. Unfortunately, we have to keep on waiting for it.

2- Flying Cars

This one is obvious, since many films have portrayed different future realities and the flying cars are always something shown… It’s seems a long way to go until we have it someday in our reality.

3 – Food Hydrator

Food dehydrators help make preserving food and snacks easy, but only McFly family had the pleasure to eat a hydrated pizza, the rest of us just have to live with microwave stuff.

4- Nike’s Self-Lacing Shoes

Probably the most comfortable and easygoing shoes ever. The design could be more versatile to everyone’s taste, but that’s too much to ask.

5- Intelligent jackets

With auto-fitting size and auto-dryer, this was the kind of jacket that you could wear to every situation where you probably would get muddy and wet, or just for a casual outfit.

6- Smart Door Locks

Smart door locks allow access without a key. From Bluetooth to touchpad control, the variety of ways to lock, unlock and even grant temporary access to guests is a great addition to your connected home. That seemed to be really rad, but not happening anytime soon.

7- VR Glasses

Taking a phone call with video glasses look really cool, but virtual reality glasses similar to those are available now. Samsung’s Gear VR Glasses let you experience immersive games and movies in 3D with 360-degree visuals. For phone calls, we can’t complain with our most recent smartphones and of course iPhone.
