Well, without nu-metal, heavy music and all its sub genres paraphernalia would have spent the last decade in the shade. Felon’s Bleak Bubble is like a turning point between old Incubus and new Finch with a few pinches of Audioslave, and Deftones now and then. Thrilling and captivating enough to see that this Italian outfit don’t give a single fuck if people are going to label them nu-metal, they’re doing things old fashioned way, the production could be better, but overall the result is not that bad. It might sound like a blast from the past, full of revival clichés from 90’s nu-metal, but perfectly encapsulates that sound in time that will please for sure the fans of the genre.
