Next week CMJ Music Marathon 2015 will start its 35th edition. One week that features live performances in New York City’s storied venues as well as exclusive parties and cutting edge conference events.

Perfect Pussy, the band fronted by the own and only Meredith Graves, will headline at the Santos Party House with their lo-fi, no bars-hold, energetic, and aggressive punk rock. You can have an idea of what to expect listening to “Driver” below, a song off of their awesome album Says Yes To Love.
The post-punk of the Detroit-based Protomartyr will also be a headlight of the night, as well as the political, non-conformist and activist punk of Downtown Boys, and even the latest addition to the Matador Records family, Car Seat Headrest with Will Toledo lyrical imagery that ranges from playful to sexually frank to sorrowful, often within the same song.
