The drama within Fucked Up’s incredibly anticipated Dose Your Dreams (out October 5 worldwide) unfolds like a miniature world of many parts being explored, a map being illuminated location by location. Today, the group hold a torch up to “House of Keys,” the new song revealed by the band that can be streamed now.
“House of Keys” is the chapter in this epic where protagonist David—having been sent on a vision quest and had his eyes opened by revolutionary anarchist fighter Joyce—sees the true nature of music and art in this society, and seeks something greater. At the center of it all is Damian Abraham’s scream, the aural manifestation of David: a man chained, a man tortured, a true protagonist.
