Following the release of her new album For My Crimes (out now on Sacred Bones Records and Bella Union Records), Marissa Nadler has shared an entrancing b/w video for “Said Goodbye To That Car”, the final track on the album.
Nadler says: “It’s a song about a car but the car is never shown in the video. Instead, snippets of memories associated with the time period in the song go through in a haze. Memories can be surreal and non–linear and more impressionistic than realistic. This video aims to capture that fleeting feeling of life’s experiences being marked by certain vivid memories. Much of the footage was taken out of car windows.”
