Ridley Scott has now revealed the title of Prometheus 2 – or at least, is our interpretation of it. “It’s going to be called Alien: Paradise Lost,” he stated. “It’s not going to be Prometheus 2. You know the poem [by John Milton]? It sounds intellectual, but there’s a similarity to it.”
In a recent interview Scott also said that: “We’re heading back to why and how and when the [Alien] beast was invented,” he further explained later. “We’ll go back into the back door of the very first Alien.”
“It won’t be in the next movie,” he said. “It will be the one after this one, or maybe even a fourth film, before we get back into the Alien franchise.” Well… Alien ranchise is back again…
Alien: Paradise Lost opens in the Spring of 2017, but you will hear more from Scott on the sequel and Neill Blomkamp’s Alien 5 – which Scott is producing – in the near future.
