SOPHIE has shared a brand new song, “Faceshopping“, which is out now via MSMSMSM INC / Transgressive Records / Future Classic.
This new single is the latest in a series of singles that demonstrate the multi-faceted nature of SOPHIE, from the earnest and raw “It’s Okay To Cry” to the provocative “Ponyboy” and now this, a typically wonky, abrasive and vital SOPHIE production. These diverse tracks are a unit made cohesive by their unapologetic nature. SOPHIE says of the song:
I’m real when I shop my face!
I’m delighted to present this next single from my album.
Created together with my darling of inspiration for this project – Cecile Believe.”

SOPHIE debuted her new live show last October in Los Angeles to a sold out crowd. On February 8th she performed a second time for yet another sold out crowd at Brooklyn venue Elsewhere. These shows have incorporated innovative uses of movement and audiovisual design, including contributions from feminist dance duo FLUCT.
SOPHIE will continue to impress audiences around the world this year. The European debut of the live show will take place at London’s Heaven on March 13th; next she will make her way to Paris for a special DJ set on March 14th at Gaite Lyrique for Paris Fashion Week.
