The Japanese House Announces Debut LP & Shares New Single

The Japanese House, otherwise known as Amber Bain, has announced the release details of her debut album, due to arrive next year. Titled Good at Falling, the album will be released via Dirty Hit on 1st March 2019.

Produced by Amber, BJ Burton (Low, Bon Iver, Francis and the Lights) and George Daniel (The 1975), Good at Falling follows up on her four previous EPs and includes the previously revealed lead single “Lilo”, which debuted last month.

The press release says that Good at Falling began as demos recorded by Bain on her laptop in her room in London, and was finished in studios across Wisconsin, Brussels and Oxford, by Bain, BJ Burton and George Daniel. “These songs are definitely more direct,” Amber explains. “The album has a lot more of me in it, so it makes sense.”
